NAT Traversal Protocol and Secure Traversal Fallbacks
Most devices on the internet sit behind NAT routers or enterprise firewalls that prevent incoming connections. Our signaling server acts as a coordinator, employing public STUN (Session Traversal Utilities for NAT) servers to discover raw network paths between the sender and recipient.
In cases where extremely strict network policies block direct UDP peer connectivity, the system falls back to a TURN (Traversal Using Relays around NAT) server path. Since all data is fully encrypted end-to-end with local AES-256 keys, the TURN relay server only acts as a blind carrier and cannot inspect the contents of your transfer.

Are my filenames saved in databases?
No. point-to-point connections operate directly inside browser memory. We do not store or index filenames or sizes in any databases.
What encryption protocols do you use?
WebRTC enforces DTLS for connection setup and SRTP for media/data encryption, using local AES-256 keys generated on-device.
Can the signaling server see my files?
No. The signaling server only handles connection metadata to discover local network paths. It has no access to the encrypted data packets.
Is a login required for secure sending?
No. You can send files securely without passwords or registrations, protecting your personal email from data harvesting.
How do you prevent man-in-the-middle attacks?
The point-to-point tunnels utilize certificates generated locally inside the browser. Tunnels are established and verified via DTLS protocols.
What happens to the tunnel when I leave the page?
The encryption keys are instantly flushed from system memory, and the point-to-point socket connection closes permanently.
