At SendFiles.in, privacy is the foundational cornerstone of our platform. We operate on a decentralized, peer-to-peer (P2P) model designed so you can share digital files with absolute confidence. We do not believe in monetizing user data, selling analytics, or holding your personal files captive on centralized cloud servers.

2. Zero Personal Data Collection & No Login

We do not collect, store, or sell any personal information. You can use all core features of SendFiles.in without ever creating an account, entering an email address, setting a password, or linking a phone number.

• No User Profiles: We do not build user profiles, track personal identities, or monitor who you send files to.
• Temporary Ephemeral Signaling: When you initiate a transfer, our server coordinates the initial handshake by generating a temporary 6-digit access code and holding basic file metadata (file name and size in bytes) strictly so the recipient can verify what file is incoming before accepting. This metadata expires and is permanently erased within 10 minutes.
• Contact Inquiries: If you voluntarily reach out via our contact form, your name and email are used solely to reply to your message and are never added to marketing lists or shared with third parties.

3. Zero Tracking Cookies Policy

SendFiles.in adheres to a strict Zero Tracking Cookies Policy:

• No Advertising or Tracking Cookies: We do not place third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or profiling cookies on your computer or mobile device.
• No Persistent Cookies for Transfers: File transfers do not use cookies. Instead, your browser utilizes isolated, temporary client-side memory (sessionStorage and local IndexedDB) strictly to calculate transfer progress and allow you to resume your download if you refresh the browser. This cached data is stored locally on your own machine and is completely deleted the moment your transfer finishes or is cancelled.
• Browser Settings: You can block all cookies in your web browser settings and SendFiles.in will continue to function seamlessly.

4. Zero Server Storage & Pure P2P Architecture

Unlike conventional cloud storage websites (such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer), SendFiles.in never stores your files on our servers:

• Direct Device-to-Device Streaming: Files stream directly between the sender's and receiver's browsers using WebRTC DataChannels. The data never touches our server hard drives or any cloud storage bucket.
• We Cannot See Your Files: We have zero technical ability to view, open, inspect, or decrypt your files. The file chunks travel across the network encrypted and are assembled only inside the recipient's browser memory.
• Zero Residual Footprint: Once a transfer completes and the browser tab is closed, no copy or trace of your file exists anywhere on the internet other than on the recipient's device.

5. 100% Free — Zero Charges & No Subscriptions

SendFiles.in is completely free to use. We do not charge fees, require credit cards, demand subscriptions, or enforce artificial file-size throttles to push users toward paid "Pro" tiers. There are no hidden fees of any kind.

6. GDPR, CCPA & Global Privacy Rights

Because SendFiles.in is engineered with privacy-by-design and rigorous data minimization principles in accordance with GDPR and CCPA:

We do not store user accounts or personal databases. There is no personal data to leak, breach, or sell. You retain full ownership and sovereign control over your digital files at all times.

7. Third-Party Services

We do not partner with advertising brokers or behavioral tracking networks. We may utilize privacy-preserving, anonymous diagnostics (such as Microsoft Clarity) strictly to understand user interface reliability and error rates without collecting personal identifying information.
